Don’t miss the 2012 Cavan Walking festival taking place over the May Bank Holiday Weekend 5th – 7th May. From vigorous, scenic mountain walks to refreshing lakeside and riverside walks, the festival will have something to suit everyone. All walks are being led by trained Walking Leaders and local guides will be present to further interpret the walks.
This year’s festival will be bigger than last year with walks provisionally taking place in the following locations:
- Ballyconnell Canal Walk
- Virginia – Deerpark Forest
- Cuilcagh Mountain
- Cootehill
- Sean Eamon Ruairi Trail, Glangevlin
- Castle Walk, Bailieborough
- Garvagh Lough
