From Dublin take the new M3 Motorway Just Past Blanchardstown the old N3 Leads on to the new M3 Motorway. There are two tolls on this road each €1.30. This Brings you to Virginia Where you re-enter the Old N3 all the way to Cavan.

From Belfast take the A1 Southbound to Lisburn and on to Lurgan,

From Lurgan take the A3 to Armagh and on to Monaghhan Town and continue along the N54 for Cavan Town.

From Rosslare take the N11 Northbound for Dublin travelling through Wexford, Enniscorty, Gorey,Arklow and on to Dublin.From Dublin follow the signs for the M50 Northbound towards Dunshaughlin, Navan, Kells, Viginia on then on to Cavan Town.

Directions to Limestone Lodge

• As you descend down the hill coming into Cavan Town, you will come to a roundabout, The Abbey bar is located on your left, Cavan bus station is on your right(1), go straight through this roundabout following signs for Limestone Lodge..
  
• Keep on this road you will pass ‘McCaren direct'(2) on your left and ‘TOP filling station'(3) on your right keep going until you come to a fork in the road, keep to the left and follow this twisty road around, passing ‘Cavan golf club'(4) on your right.
  
•  Take the next major right hand turn,at the ‘Grand Gates'(5) of the Farnham estate continue on this road and take the first left hand turn around by the Farnham golf course.
  
•  Keep on the main road all the time; it is a twisty road. Passing such landmarks as the 12 cottages(6) and the old Grathbratan school house. Limestone Lodge is signposted along the way.
  
•  You will come to a fork in the road, with a small white cottage on the left, veer off to the left and up the hill (you will now be on a small narrow road)
